MSc Mohammed Haque

Short CV

Mohammed Haque, M.Sc., is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Physics at the University of Greifswald, where his research focuses on drift effects in the stellarator edge region. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Hunter College. Mohammed’s first experience in plasma physics was working on the MUSE stellarator at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory.
He later earned his master’s degree under the supervision of Professor Elizabeth Paul at the Columbia Plasma Physics Laboratory, where he worked on stellarator optimization. His current research interest is modeling drifts in the edge of W7-X
