Janus Niebuhr received his BSc degree in physics in 2022. In 2026, he completed his Master degree at the Condensed Matter Theory of the Institute of Physics in Greifswald on the subject of “Quantum-Geometric Josephson Effects in Superconducting Hybrid Structures with Strongly Spin Polarized Altermagnets”. As a member of the Condensed Matter Theory group, he is working on generalizing quasiclassical theory of superconductivity to complex magnetic systems.
