We investigate the dynamics and transport in the edge of the tokamak. The investigated area extends from the outermost edge of the confinement region, the region of open field lines (scrape-off layer) and the divertor. The transport in the edge of the tokamak significantly determines the quality of the confinement and thus the fusion performance. On the other hand, the transport also determines the power and particle fluxes onto the wall components.
