Our main cooperation partner is certainly the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP). The world's most modern stellator - Wendelstein 7-X - is operated here in Greifswald. The IPP operates a tokamak-type experiment in Garching near Munich, the ASDEX Upgrade tokamak. Here, too, we would like to continue the good cooperation.
In order to better link large-scale research with universities and between different universities, we also want to cooperate more with experiments at other universities. Examples of such experiments are the stellerator TJ-K in Stuttgart and the linear plasma experiment PANTA in Fukuoka (Japan).
